Our client delivers electrical and mechanical construction works and is seeking a Construction Supervisor to lead site activities across Southeast Queensland. You’ll represent our client on the ground, coordinate crews and subcontractors, and take ownership of safe, organised delivery.

The Opportunity

You’ll oversee electrical and mechanical construction activities across multiple live sites, balancing safety, quality, programme and client expectations.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Leading trades, apprentices, technicians and subcontractors.
• Planning and sequencing works around shutdowns, access windows and other trades.
• Running pre-starts, reinforcing Take 5s and exercising stop-work authority when required.
• Overseeing inspections, inspection and test plans, site documentation and early defect resolution.
• Tracking progress, outstanding actions and issues affecting the programme.
• Identifying scope changes, recording potential variations and escalating commercial impacts.
• Communicating directly with clients about site activities and delivery priorities.
• Coaching your team and building accountability for workmanship and performance.

What We’re Looking For

You’re an experienced site supervisor who combines practical trade knowledge with clear communication and sound judgement.

You’ll bring:

• Demonstrated experience supervising trades and/or subcontractors.
• A strong safety record and experience managing work on live sites under pressure.
• The ability to coordinate people and activities as site priorities change.
• Confidence communicating with clients and resolving day-to-day delivery issues.
• Commercial awareness and an understanding of how scope changes affect delivery.
• A practical approach to developing people and maintaining site standards.

Qualifications and Mobility

• An electrical or mechanical trade qualification and current relevant licence.
• A current driver’s licence.
• Willingness to work across Southeast Queensland.
