Senior Project Manager – Civil Infrastructure
Brisbane / SEQ + Regional Project Exposure
$190K – $215K + Super + Vehicle + Bonus

They fail because delivery leadership cannot keep pace with complexity, pressure, commercial reality, and stakeholder expectations.
This opportunity is suited to a commercially astute Senior Project Manager capable of leading large-scale civil infrastructure delivery while overseeing multiple projects and mentoring Project Managers beneath them.
We are partnering with a growing contractor delivering projects across transport, utilities, structures, energy, and heavy civil sectors throughout Australia.
The business is seeking a senior operator who understands how to balance:

Project Exposure
Projects may include:
- Bridges
- Rail infrastructure
- Pipelines
- Roads
- Concrete structures
- Renewable energy projects
- Bulk earthworks
- Water and utilities infrastructure
Travel to regional projects may be required, including FIFO/DIDO arrangements depending on project location.
The Role
Responsibilities include:
- Managing multiple civil infrastructure projects concurrently
- Leading and mentoring Project Managers and delivery teams
- Reviewing and improving construction programs and delivery strategy
- Managing budgets, forecasts, cost control, and commercial reporting
- Supporting procurement, subcontractor engagement, and supplier management
- Resolving technical, scheduling, and commercial issues with clients and stakeholders
- Monitoring project performance against contractual and financial targets
- Driving safe, commercially successful project outcomes
What We’re Looking For
Ideal candidates will demonstrate:
- Experience across both Tier 1 contractors and agile self-performing contractors
- Strong commercial acumen with end-of-month reporting experience
- Proven success delivering complex infrastructure projects
- Strong programming and project controls capability
- Experience managing Project Managers and multidisciplinary delivery teams
- Ability to operate strategically while maintaining delivery momentum
- Exposure across civil infrastructure, transport, utilities, resources, or energy sectors
Preferred Background
- Degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or related discipline
- Minimum 8+ years’ experience delivering civil infrastructure projects
- Strong understanding of procurement, contracts, and project controls
- Excellent safety and delivery track record
